Hellcrust Biography

Indonesian Deathmetal music group from Jakarta which was formed on September 24, 2011. Starting from a meeting of 3 friends at an evening banquet, Andyan Gorust (Deadsquad), Wirsky (Death Valley) and Nyoman (ex Siksakubur), under a starry sky with the night breeze and accompanied by a few bottles of alcohol they felt they got "Revelation" to immediately make a fresh band. Without taking a long time, they also seemed to get a whisper to immediately name their band, HELLCRUST, which was honestly inspired by the word "Air Keras" which accompanied their banquet until morning and the time showed 05:30 on September 24, 2011.

In early January 2012 Gorust and Nyoman were met in (again) the evening banquet, but the meeting was more than just a meeting as usual. Andyan Gorust was like being possessed by Mario Teguh, with great enthusiasm and burning spirit he said "Hellcrust must be realized" (while showing a finger above the sky), Nyoman who was immediately motivated felt himself to be very extraordinary, he immediately took the guitar barrel and played some notation that was immediately greeted by a meaningful smile by Andyan Gorust and He said "I will find the right partner for you, O Nyoman", at that time Gorust contacted someone who felt right to be with Nyoman, that person was Kakanda Ario (Carnivored).

Ario at that time had just finished releasing the first album from Carnivored, and Ario was also an Additional Guitarist at Deadsquad. Starting from the end of January 2012 Hellcrust began to actively hold meetings for the production and cultivation of material, while on the sidelines also sought a figure of a desirable person to fill Bass's position.

One night from a Hellcrust twitter account, a Bassist search contest was created, and the result was that only 2 people responded to the tweet from the Hellcrust account, in addition to the few who responded it was also possible because the followers of the HC account that were only created at that time were only 27 followers. However, one person who responded to the contest in the twit turned out to be a special figure, a Twitter activist figure who was well known for his various peculiarities. That person's figure is Boni (Deadsquad).

Happiness seems to always increase for this new family, when a person named Santo from Merchcons and Armstrecth Records in collaboration with Gorust and Theeyemerch.com said they would release their first EP along with the release of official Merchandise from Hellcrust. Unstoppable crying, outpouring of heart and laughter, accompanied by tears in their eyes complemented their readiness to release their first EP album.

Hellcrust promises that in their first EP album which was released on June 12, 2012 it will present a fresh color in the Death Metal genre. In the middle of their journey there was a very heavy stumbling block that the Hellcrust had to go through.

Beginning with the release of their basist Bony on November 11, 2013, after the release of Bony there was no need to linger for them to find a replacement for Bony. Alan entered to replace Bony on November 16, 2013.

Amid the cultivation of their second album, Hellcrust had to return to face the bitter reality of being left behind by their beloved Guitarists. In May 2015 Ario left Hellcrust Dam and was followed by their vocalist Wirsky who left on August 3, 2015 due to differences in principles and busyness. 

After the release of the Hellcrust members, there were several new faces in this band which certainly did not need to doubt its credibility in Death metal music. Baken Nainggolan entered Hellcrust's new lineup on July 21, 2015 to replace Ario who had already left Hellcrust in the Guitar position.

And to complete the Hellcrust lineup, Japs, who was the Ex-Vocalist Siksakubur, entered the Hellcrust lineup on August 5, 2015.
